First off let me thank you guys for helping me with my starter problem. Turns out Previous owner had replaced wire with a green one making it almost impossible to identify as a starter wire.

Ok so i go to start my car and i GET NOTHING BUT THE HEADLIGHTS TO WORK. I turn the key and all I hear is a click somewhere under the hood. I wont even hear the walbro prime in the back. I go check fuses and sure enough the 75a Alternator fuse is blown. The only place to purchase said fuse is the dealer so I pay the $21.00 and go install my fuse confident im about to crank this baby up for the frist time. I hook battery cables up, but when i go to mount the possitive cable on the battery I get mad sparks and BAM! there goes $21.00

Has this happened to anyone before. My two SR partners are training somewhere in the Arizona dessert for who knows how long and I want to start this baby up now.

You have a crazy short to ground. It is going to be a 4/6/8 Gauge cable and it should be very obvious on the alt/starter wiring to battery where the problem is. A lesser would have done a pretty little plasma burst what would have temporarily blinded you so just look at all the fat cables and make sure your connecting red to positive and ground (black) to negative.

Your starter and alternator power wires are probably backwards. They are the wires (not grounds) that need to be screwed onto the copper posts.

Switch them.
