I just stripped a head stud!!!!Please help me!!!!!

Ok,Im taking off the head on my s13 sr20det,and I got all the 10mm head studs out,and I see two 8mm in the middel,So I get one loose,and go to the next and I striped it out!!!Do any of you have any suggestions.Or did this happen to you,what did you do?Thanks for the help.-Brian

Those plugs werent meant to be removed. I guess you could tap them out and then replace them with new studs.

so well the head come off with out removing those?

Yes. You only have to remove the 10mm bolts to remove the head.

then how do you get the head loose when the 10mm studs are off,I cant get it off still.

My guess is rubber mallet or just try and lift a part like the upper radiator tube. I never had a problem removing heads from the blocks. You might have left a couple bolts in the outside corners in that need to be removed first. Marked in red.

I removed those bolts on the outside.you know those 8mm studs in the middle,The ones I stripped,what do they do?And where can I get new ones at?

They dont have any real function. They were probably used when the head was cast at the factory to make coolant or oil passages in the head. You could try to get a replacement at Nissan, or just try to find a plug at an auto/screw store or home improvement store.
