Here's the ad of the car I saw an hour ago

http://vancouver.en.craigslist....html

I must say, it's good. It's a 1990 S13 that has a swapped dual cam engine that has been rebuilt (currently has 20,000 km's). It has quite a few modifications (listed in the ad). It has a new clutch (used it for 3000 km's only) and pulls strong.

Some of the negatives were the fact that it's the base model, and the body is somewhat bad (contains 320,000 km's)... The thing with this car is, when you look at the body, it looks great, but when you look underneath, you can see a lot of rust in the wheel well, and on the side of the body.

But anyways, he's asking $3500,00 CAD, and I managed to bring it down to $3300,00 only... And he's firm on that... So what do you guys think, is it worth the price, let alone the effort?

Let me know, thanks in advance.

the idea of buying a base model used to annoy me, but after i got one i love the simplicity of it, they are great for builds. from what ive read about you guys 20 min away, the s13's are pricey as hell so this seems like a fair deal. the rust is your biggest concern at this point, dont worry about the sunroof or cruise and power windows, as long as the b**** isnt falling apart at the frame rails.
