i just ran into a pole

yeah, im an idiot. it was a small pole, but there is a huge gash on the passenger side of my front bumper. the headlight is a little scratched, but the bumper took all the beating.. anywhere know where i can find a cheap front bumper for my 2000 silver q45???? i cannot afford this problem and im so sick to my stomach right now!

that site had no listings. it appears that i might be able to get by with a new bumper cover alone. the molding is bent and the part of the fender where it touches the headlight is bent but not badly. what i'm really searching for is a great deal because i cannot afford this problem. sigh.

Ok I am going to call my insurance agent tomorrow, but I'm asking here for peace of mind. I have full comprehensive on my Q with Farmer's here in Michigan. I don't know much about insurance, but I know I have a $750 deductible. I'm wondering if I report this as a parking lot accident if I would have to pay that deductible or if it only usually applies to collisions.. I guess ill know for sure tomorrow...

You can go down the road with Farmer's saying that you got hit in a parking lot of that would be reasonable, but depends on the angles. Your still on the hook for the deductable, however, any way you slice it. With a $750 your probably looking at around 1500 to 2k for a full new bumper install and paint, at least in Cali that is what it would run...so you really need to work with your agent to figure out if it is worth it.

Take it to a recommended shop ASAP and get an estimate to get the ball rolling before you do anything else....BTW, there were plenty of bumpers in there, search again. Most around $500 bucks.
