You could always buy a high mileage 95-96 240(you can find one for around 4 grand,), take it to Daunt to get the SR swap(4100 dollars), and if it was an automatic, have him do do the Auto to Manual swap(7-800 dollars)That would give you an SR powered manual 240 for around 9 grand!!!Thats what I'm planning to do, I already found a '96 240 locally here for 3500 dollars, automatic, w 130k miles. Plus since I like the 97-98 "angry eyes" better I will probably be doing a front-end conversion (1900 dollars)And since I have a budget of 12 grand--FMIC, clutch/flywheel, boost controller, and bov. Lotsa fun and looks good!!

Doesn't Daunt's website say ~$5000 for an S14 SR swap? Also the engine isn't the only thing that wears down with mileage, if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, I just found your post interesting because I'm considering buying a rebuilt S14a (see http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....=7291 for details). I'm wondering if an older S14 with more miles, but clean title history + rebuilt engine would be comparable...
