lol..thanks just added an extra 500km in the past 2 days and did a trip to niagara fallsand back (including a 40 mins pile up on the QEW) and still made it homewith slightly over 1/2 a tank of gas...a new personal record

man i got a chevy truck with the 4.3L V6 vortec engine, (actually i have 6 but 5 are driven by my employees) and man are they pieces of junk. I drove one today with 160k miles and it sputters, coughs, barely runs, even died on me once today in traffic. We don't even beat on these trucks and they just fall apart, and then even the dealership can't figure out whats wrong with them. You would think that after 15 years of producing the same engine, Chevy would figure out the problems, NO WAY.

My Nissan has the same amount of miles and has never had a mechanical problem. Its like comparing night and day.

The only upside to the Chevy 4.3 is the horsepower - even fully loaded up with a LOT of weight, it still makes my Nissan feel pathetic. But what good is that horsepower if i'm scared to take it on a long trip
