dhampirkyohttps://forums.nicoclub.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=113&sid=ecbe51a3150938584ef9064a938d29d7I just had a question...Thu Apr 26, 2007 1:53 pm
I found a 1990 300ZX twin turbo for 2600$ but its has some damage to the driver side I was wondering if I should get it and fix it up or just leave it...
it comes with a replacement door i would need a side skirt and the fender but i am not sure what else thats why i am wondering if i should get it or not...i would like to get those fixed and get it started again
that thing looks like it's been sitting awhile, how's the engine/mileage? If you got it, you might want to think about putting some work into it (which means more money also). Maybe a 60k kit.
it needs some time on a frame rack for sure, and hope they can pull it out enough, find a body and frame shop, I'd expect at least $1k to get the frame pulled out, and thats withut any finnish bodywork, just pulling it into shape
I don't think this is just a "fixer-upper". That's a pretty big hit, and I don't think that the sub-frame could possibly be straight. Having said that, the "replacement door" won't do you any good if the sub-frame can't be straightened. I think it would make for a valuable parts car, but I'm betting that it was totaled, and that's why it's there.

is this Z from the Maryland area? I knew a guy close to me selling a somewhat low milage tt that had pole damage to it, same color as above?
could just be a coincidence I suppose\
Oh and I would say that its not fixable, that damage is just way too severe... your just best off getting a poor running NA and using this car for its parts as most of the driveline and engine parts look to be intact. You could esstentially have a tt for less than $5k!
