i got me a 91 Q45; it's run great but have a oil leak and the dash where the a/c is don't light up but work real good. This has been my dream car for about 10 year and I don't care about putting money into; oh yea I got at 136,000 miles.unknown if the timing guide has been change but beside that should that be my only worry. PS any help would helpful

I prefer Mobil 1 full syn 10w40 or 10w30 if it gets cold, however I am not the expert. Do a search on oil as we have had experts post extensively on the subject.

Yeah, just do a search for "oil" in the recent *and* archived threads. Put in "Palmerwmd" as the thread creator. You'll come up with more oil info than you ever asked for

Welcome into the best knowledge base for the G50 Q45. Do you have your car's dealer performed service history? Get to know a good service writer at Infiniti of Kirkland very well.

You will want to read the Articles Forum for starters, and then all posts by Q45tech and texasoil before doing much more, like starting the engine again before checking the timing chain guides. Really.
