I remove the 4 speed column shifter and transmission and I am attemping to put in a 4-speed floor transmission I got from a 65 320.  Problems I ran into was the 65' transmission didn't work with my existing clutch plate and clutch so I took care of that.  Now my problem lies with the starters being different and the clutch slave cylinder is different.  I'm a little stuck right now.  The main problem might be a simple one but it's got me stuck.  On the transmission I'm trying to install, I had to separate the front half from the stick shift side to get it out of the donor 65 truck.  Now when I put the two pieces (transmission)back together, the shifter doesn't move.  Not sure how to get it in right.  Any help would be appreciated, I'm about ready to sell as is, and let somebody else deal with it.

Good looking truck, this is alittle off subject but what size wheels (height, width, offset) and tires did you put on it? Who made the wheels its really hard to figure out what looks nice until you see them on the truck, and I'm to the wheel point with mine.

Thanks

Nick
