Nice! Where did you get it for and how much? Who's going to tune it for you? Am I asking enough questions? haha

I was gonna get the power fc but I decided to go HKS Fcon Vpro and blow even more money The Fcon is similar to the power fc d-jetro in that you lose the mafs

I can't wait!

djetro is supposely harder to tune and not nessassary for low horse power application... my goal is no more than 300whp and I know it's no where near it

xs engineering will be tuning my car, I heard nothing but good thing with them working with power fc.

I spoke to 2 other tuner over the phone and xs engineering is by far the most knowledged... and most expensive

I am getting it from jap parts specialist... those who frequent ebay shoudl know who they are: 1413 postive feedback with 0 negative importing jdm parts.... the power fc + commander will run me 875 shipped to usa

s13 blacktop with intake, downpipe, catalyst convertor, s14 turbo, exhaust, fuel pump, boost controller at 10psi

when the car is being tuned the 555cc injectors and z32 maf will go in as well then crank to 15psi

parts that does not directly go with power gain are not listed

My reason for going fcon vpro is because it has a 32x32 fuel/timing map compared to the pfc which has a 20x20 fuel/timing map. However, many people run the pfc because it is in fact an excellent unit.

My goals are similar at 300-350 whp but with a 32x32 map the car will run very smooth, similar to stock. Either case you can't go wrong. It all depends on how much money you wanna spend and 875 for tha pfc and commander is quite a good deal!

I was also considering buying the Power FC from this seller, but then I heard that there are 2 types of commanders, Japanese and English language versions. Did he mention if this was true or which version you were getting? Of course, what I just mentioned could be purely hearsay...still, better safe then sorry

I got quoted around 2000 for the pfc tuned and 2500 for the fcon tuned, both with stock injectors. with the pfc u still have to buy a mafs. while you can buy a used one off ebay if i were going that route i would buy a new one. the mafs is extremely sensitive and prone to sending bad signals if it doesn't work properly. this might cost more money down the road. superior nissan quoted me 369 for a new z32 mafs. if you are getting it professionally tuned the difficulty is not that much more as reflected in the price.

The safc2 has an 8x8 map and adjusts fuel/timing at 8 points along the rpm range. Very basic and limited. You can achieve the same hp goals with all 3 alternatives but the car will run smoother with more adjustment points. Plus the fcon has 4 base maps for different levels of boost or the maps can be used to compensate if the car overheats because something fails i.e water pump

Ok, that's good to hear. This is the auction that had me wondering...

Let me know how this business venture goes. If things run smoothly, I may well be joining you in the Power FC club

What is the fuel timing map on the AEM EMS? I went on their site and they said something about "You have the ability to define the target A/F ratio at 357 different Load/RPM points as well as all the accuracy criteria." but how does that compare to the Power FC and the Fcon?
