I just bought a S13, but having problems

Ok, I just purchased a 1989 240sx coupe I love the car since I am a fan of S13's. But I'm having trouble starting it. THe guy I bought it from said the security system is killing the engine and preventing the car from starting. So me and my mechanic friends narrowed it down to either the securit system or the fuel pump. The starter motor cranks, it just won't start. I read somewhere on the FAQ's that it might be a fuse, tomorrow I am gonna check to see if the relay to the fuel pump is good. If it is then I need a new fuel pump, if the relay is not working then I need help! what would i need to check and where is it located? I am gonna remove the security system myself this saturday with the help of a electrician I know, and we're gonna also do some mods to my car, any help to me is appreciated

also one more thing, there is no fuel going to the engine from what I'm told

open up the back and underneath the carpet there should be access to your fuel pump. there you can test to see if you are getting around twelve volts to the pump. you may be able to hear it turn on & off
