yup sorry to say it, but gsr in good condition should be mid 15's. 240 is perfect condition is low 16's, so he will take you, unless he really cant drive. Dont get those coilovers. Dont skimp just because you dont have money now, save and wait. you will be happy, or if you need your car slammed just get eibach sportline springs.

i completely agree with BP2000.... it pays off to save. go with some eibach prokits or tein springs... and the engine is called a KA24e... s13 is the chassis code..

his car is faster than yours stock, so with more mods than you and a gutted interior he will defintely win, i'm assuming its manual, might be different if it's automatic but not too sure

I don't think that they made any automatic GSR's.

You bought a car without knowing the horsepower? lol, seems like some of the basic info you should have looked up :P

yes ive herd of auto GSRs. VERY few were sold. not a very popular option.

ive seen a suprising # of turbo DSMs with autos. they suck royally.

dont get the crappy coil overs. if you want to be slammed now get a set of either eibach pro kits or tein S Techs.

then when you can afford your coil overs you can get something good like Tein HAs

how about just enjoy your stock suspension while you can until you can get full coilovers. Don't waste $200 on springs just to look slammed. O yea and an alignment would cost like $60 so how about not waste $260-300. Save up for coilovers! :D

Are 90 240's slower than my 96? if not, he can run mid 15's staying stock. I ran a 15.6 last season.

stock most 240's are created equal. What the earlier 240's lack in hp is made up by lighter car. A good condtion 240 is a 16 sec car. Maybe with a really good driver high 15's.

So I guess that makes me a really good driver? :D heh.

I just read the link posted earlier in this thread. My car is less than 100 lbs heavier and has 15 more horsepower. SO it would seem mid 15's are out of the question for a stock '90. Might get just under 16, though.

Nope, an automatic was never offered as an option on the GSR's.
