i hit another car and my rear bumper got effed can i replace it my self?

not hard - i'm guessing a few bolts and a few retainer clips. bumper covers are cheap but it'll cost you to get it painted to match.

my dad knows a guy and he does all the paint work just for the cost so it'll be like $50 to paint the cover, i just want to know if i can install it at home don't feel like making my car sit in a shop for two days

sure you can. i looked around and found a little on 4th gen bumper - few bolts on the bottom and sides, a bracket and a few clips on top. i know yours is 5th gen but i doubt they changed a lot. 10mm bolts i'm guessing.
