i have already dropped 2k into her.but she needs the piston rings replaced and i cant do it myself or have any more money to drop into her.but i can drive it right now beccause she wont pass smog burning oil.so alas i have to sell her to get a car i can drive to get me to school and work.i feel so very sad.

you dont HAVE to sell it, as im sure youll find out in the unlikely situation nobody buys it, there are other ways to make ends meet. but if you want to get something else and start over with a nicer 240, i couldnt blame you.

im a senior in highshchool. i need a job to get money and i have no way of getting to and from a job beacuse my mother works from 8am till 830pmso i cant even get a ride.just sux, i loved my 240

find a cheap motor that somebody has swaped out for a SR and put it in yourself or with the help of some buddies. Should cost a few hundred max.

Ka are still pretty cheap get a better one i got mine with 19k on it now up to about 27k

yeah.. the whole anti honda mentality is getting ever more popular with the rise of civics and what not with distasteful body mods and no performance adders( minus intake and exhaust) but.. its not only honda... dood

anyways.. piston rings arent hard to replace. well, they arent if u know what ur doing but.. if u dont know how to replace piston rings maybe you shouldnt be talking shizz about "ricers" most "ricers" also do not know how to change piston rings.

Props to honda for their all motorness. Forget the exsepnsive s2000's, a type-R is pretty mean. Sad most people rice the hell out of the body that the typeR sit in, but it's a really nice engine.

I think even the cost of buying a used engine and paying for it to be installed would be cheaper then selling for a diffrent car...1.) you sell you loose that 2k2.) how much would a shop charge to drop an egine in for you? KA's can be had for ~300 add the two together...what kinda car could you get for that price? better then the 240?
