1) My heat makes a loud humming noise when. It appears to happen most of the time, but especially in colder weather and when it first comes on. If I turn the heat up, sometimes the noise goes away.

2) Washer fluid just stopped working. When I attempt to turn it on, I do not hear the motor. I am assuming that the motor needs to be replaced, but before I go through the expense, I wasn't sure if this could be a fuse. I attempted to find the fuse for the windshield washer motor, but couldn't. Is there a fuse dedicated to it.

3) The passenger wiper arm is very loose. I attempted to tighten it down, but it appears that the problem is beyond tightening the bolt. When I move the arm the entire assembly underneath the bolt moves. Should this do this? The reason I noticed this at all was because my wiper blades were hitting eachother. I noticed that the passenger one seems to have a noticeably bigger bend in the arm and I thought that was the issue. So if the assembly is suppose to have that type of movement, would replacing the arm solve the problem.

I would appreciate any advice.

BB2023, First, allow me to translate. I'm assuming, "My heat makes a loud humming noise" you're referring to , when you engage the heater (ie. select heat, turn the fan [blower] on, etc.) you get noise you'd rather not. (get.) "especially when it's cold" and "sometimes when I turn it (blower!??) up" it (noise) goes away. ......Most likely it's the blower motor. # 2 It very well may be a fuse, I don't have prints on your vehicle, you might check your owners manual. # 3 To answer your questions (2) No & No Your wiper arms beneath the wiper stem mount should not move around. Also, you're right in being concerned with your wiper arms contacting each other. (Not good!!) Replacing the arm assy. (I once again, assume, you mean the arm that mounts on the stem.) won't cure the problems (at least where your discription leads me to believe "moving around") under the cowl where there will be found more arms and mounts that, again, most likely, you'll find a loose fastener or defective part. It should be obvious once you can see under the cowl cover but unlike your other problems, your discription of the wiper situation would dictate that the wipers should not be used until the problem is remedied. Whatever the problem , if something should fall completely off the wiper motor could do some damage before the fuse trips. Good luck, hope this helps.
