I have the worst luck....

Hmm... I used to be always optimistic about stuff and try to get the best out of everything... but ever since I bought this '89 Fastback.... I've been getting some badddd luck...

First week, Someone hits my car while it was parked at night and leaves a dent on the right side fender... not too big so I just left it at that and just used compound to buff out the paint that was left by the other car.

Second week, Some idiot or idiots.... didnt like me or whatever the hell the reason was, decided to slash all my tires....

Third week, Thank god it went by ok..

Fourth week, My friend tried to pull a Takumi and e-braked on a corner going dunno prob over 35 and hits a curve on the side, leaving the rim cracked which gotta be replaced now AND bending the control arm...

This week (today) My sister.... asks if she can take my car to go to a store... she has been driving for awhile so i didnt think twice before i said ok. Guess what... she comes back tells me that when she turned the key on the car moved forward and hit a pole on the driver side..... I find out that since the car was in 1st gear when it was parked... she let go of the e-brake first then starting the car without holding the clutch down.... hmmm

Can I be any more lucky? wth... it was hard for me to live with the money i make now and ****s always freaking happen to me... I dont mean to whine and cry on the forum but i just had to let it out..

I cant be asking my sister to pay to get the fender fixed cuz... well i just cant.. shes my sister... and i wouldnt feel right taking money from her even tho it was her fault...

well.. you are not the only one who has bad luck and can't get a break... a few weeks after getting my rims I hit a huge a$$ rock on the free way and craked my rima nd slashed my tire.. had to buy a whol new one.. then some s-whole decided to kick the side of my car, cracking my kit!!! don't know why and on sat i noticed i had a flat so i took of the rim and saw that i must have hit somehting and the rim is has a hair line crak on it... so this was after spending all that money to get it in the first place.... crap like that happenes... it's out of your hand.. just pray and hope that it doesn't happen again but oo well.. you live with it...=/

I let everyone drive my car, I even let someone race it that barely knew how to drive I stick, probably not the best on the car, but it was fun... and funny.

You can't let the little stuff get you down, at least the car still runs. The car shouldn't be a beauty queen, those dents will just add to the sleeper look

dont worry your luck will get better i totaled my 240 about a month ago and now have to drive my HONDA every day but on monday my grandma comes to my house and hands me the keys to her 92 toyota paseo not the best car but a great daily driver

LOL a deer hit you thanks messed up it. man sorry about your bad luck just remember it, as everyone has said it could be worse. imagine that you wouldn't have a car right now. (god forbid right.) or somebody stole the whole thingfor your rims then set the rest on fire. that happened to one of my friends friend, and he had the whloe car hooked up lights, kit, sound engine. and they just took these plain white 7 spoke racing rims and burned the rest to the ground. some one trid to steal my car and just ended up messing the lock up. so i have a hole where my key hole used to be. i was at first shocked, went inside sat down breathed, then went to work. i could have walked out and not found my car. that would have been a lot worse. o this was a week after i got my unpainted kit on. so heh keep your head up.>>>also dont let anyone use your car thats rule #1<<<---as for your sister dont ask her to pay for it, ask her if she can help you >use the word brother< with any amount of money to help fix the car. that sounds better than saying blah blah blah gimme $$$ right? or even better (if your good at body work) ask her if she wants to help you fix it. --for those idiots that slashed your tires , they'll get there's maybe not from you (cuz you still dont know who they are) but from someone else maybe not today or in a year but it will come. cuz everything goes around comes around.

hehe, just thought I would add my recent story to this thread...

SOme people know about my cooling system fiasco about 3 months ago....that WAS fixed.

Today I was driving down I-285 to meet up with my GF for her graduation ceremony..

I get stuck in traffic and notice(this is after 30 miles of driving, mind you) my temp gauge is going up ever so slowly...

so I wait for a bit...

No sound of the electric fan clicking on....so I pull over(massive traffic) into the 2nd lane from the far right....

pop the hood to take a look(since I am stuck in atlanta traffic, after all....we didnt move for a while)....too see if the fan was on..

THERE WAS NO GOD-DAMNED FAN. I dont know if it vibrated out, got stolen or what, but its GONE...like completely missing! so Im like "oh ****, this is gonna get real bad, real fast if I dont get outa traffic"

so I work my way over to the shoulder and call a tow truck, after my temp gauge was 2 notches below being at its "H" and fluid boiling over into my engine bay form the overflow tank...

because of traffic I sat on the side of the road for 3 hours, and got charged 65 dollars to tow my *** home....

Well, quite a month. I think things will improve for you. I don't think you or your car is jinxed. But I don't understand know why you don't want your sister to take responsibility for her damage. If my sister did that to my car, you betcha she's paying to repair it. Likewise if I damaged her car, I would absolutely pay for the repair, no hesitation. Hope this month goes better.
