I have some tube that is capped would could it be?

I had this shop do a my swap and I think its my AIC it runs through my intake manifold and is capped, when we first started my car when I got it, it stalled constantly from low RPM's so we adjusted the throttle body im just curious dose this sound right and if so thanks bueller for the hack job.

pics please or a better desription of where the cap is...

alot of times, when the AIC goes bad, people cap them off and adjust the throttle body stop to set the idle..

my hose is not stock, so yours will probly be a bit different, the stock setup has a small metal section atached at the green circle on the pic

yea that looks like where the hose gose so it should come in contact with a metal piece?

the hose goes to your intercooler piping

Sort of looks like the radiator hose that leads to the heater core. I have a pin hole leak in that very hose.

Yeah thats the AIV hose.

Try plugging it in and see what happens.

mine I had to adjust the throttle position so it wouldn't stall but it was plugged when I got my car

thats where the aiv hose goes. it'll be a ***** to start the car with out that.

whats the purpose of the hose what dose it do cause like said mine runs now that i adjusted the throttle body.

It controls extra air at idle. It helps the engine breathe properly at idle. I would hook it up if you can. It will make the car run much smoother.
