I have real trouble

i just got a 95 maxima. the guy that i bought it from said that before it died. he heard the radio cracking. the ground wire between the engine and the body by the power steering is burned. He replaced the starter solinoid and the alt. He hooked up a push button start straight to the battery to the ignition wire to the starter. It cranks but doesnt start but only with the push button no engine check light is on even if for a second when i turn the key on the acc.

never mind i found the problem ignition switch and repaired the ground cable
