I have effing had it... tach problems....

So, I bought a cluster from the junkyard for 50 bucks, from a 93 vert... the tach looks EXACTLY like my sohc tach, same redline and all....

I put it in my cluster, connected the TAM wire to my ecu... and made sure I was getting the right reading from my voltmeter before plugging it up... plugged it in and now my ****ing ecu does not give me anything from the tacho port.........

NOTHING.....

What do I do? I am about to drive this car off a ****ing bridge... :-(

I feel you dude, ive bought like 2 dohc clusters trying to get somewhere, I am at the same point. Shows voltage that rises with rpms and everything... I expect the dohc to atleast work a little bit but it wont even move, ivedone everything. I even put in a 10k resistor as recomended.

How much shipped to 29412, and what color are the gauges... asking because I will have to swap my speedo into it and want to have it looking as good as possible...
