Post

I posted this in the newbie questions and the only help I recieved is to ride in other 240's with different setups. I know one other person around here who has a 240 S13 and he is not into coilovers. And I used the search button and didn't really see any comparisons. But I did read alot about stances but are the tiens better? So can someone give me some help here is what I wrote:

Hey newbie here, I had previously been building and tuning hondas since 98. And recently I saw the light and have converted to nissan. All praise the 240. I have a 1997 240sx LE and I need to know what coilovers to get for it. If it was a honda I would have already ordered skunk 2, but as I said I have seen the light. Yet I have no clue what kind of coilover to get. I am looking for something well rounded. 1/4 mile, drift, and daily driving. This car will be my main means of transportation. I am not so worried about comfort as I am performance but I don't want to feel the tiniest(I think I spelled that wrong)pebble on the groung either. My budget isn't really and issue but I don't want to spend extra for a name either. Something around 1200usd, but I will spend more if I have to. I have read alot of good things about stance and tien. And I have used tien in hondas before and liked them. I saw good specs for D2 and tanabe as well. But I am still up in the air. A little bit of oppinions and suggestion sent my way would be greatly appreciated. I am going all out with this car and I want to build it right. And one last thing, the S14 top notch sr20det, how well is the bottom end built for the turbo? What is the max boost stock can handle? What are the best ignition parts(wires, cap and rotor) for these cars? Msd doesnt' seem to make anything for it. And do you need wheel spacers for the z32 caliper conversion when using stock se wheels? If so, what size? Thanks and sorry for the nube questions.Rzerob
