I have an idea that I think might really improve turbo intake cooling: What if you where to take an S13's AC system, and re-route it so that instead of having it go into the cabin's heat exchange box underneath the dash, the lines went to a cooling coil in the engine's intake. Example: take a 6" section of 3" dia. PVC tubing, put a coil of 1/4" copper tubing inside it, and connect one end of the copper tubing to the AC compressor, and the condensor on the other. That way the air going into the engine would be "actively" cooled.
So, what do you guys think? Is it possible, or would it even be effective?
