i have an idea about tuner lug nuts?

i have a set of tuner lug nuts that i bought from Les Schwab and i wanted to know if i can just cut the ends of them and just make them open ended lug nuts?

why not just buy open nuts? you can get em cheap they just wouldnt be "tuner"

i know man but the good ones are way to expensive and the cheap are way too cheap

yes you can I did it on mine for extended studs it. the dome on the top of the nut cuts off easy with a dremel, grinder or even a hacksaw

i'm not really sure what you mean, i picked up regular open nuts from pepeboys and they do the job fine. they just dont look flashy.

but will they fit wheels that needs tuner lugs, if so may i see some pictures

i'll have to get pics, but my old wheels needed tuner nuts and the open ones worked fine

So let me get this straight. You are asking, "if you cut the tops of hollow cylindrical tuner lugnuts. Will they be open ended?"

Did you think about this at all before starting a thread?

Ok here is my 2 cents.

When you cut the tops off. The lug will now be topless, thus open ended./Thread.
