you need to find a powerful drill and a fitting "a Strong one" to drill the screw out of there. if that makes sense. Like drilling a whole through a wall to put cable through it.

Go to any auto parts store and ask for an "easy out" they will know what you need. All you do is drill a very small hole in the middle of the bolt then put the attachment on and put the drill in reverse. It should grab hold and pull the bolt out. Also, you should be alright to drive the care just be sure to check on it regularly.

I believe they're usually called "screw extractors." You can get them anywhere they sell drill bits. Looks like a funky drill bit, and works exactly as he described.

If I'm not mistaken, that bolt was aluminum. If I'm right, make sure you choose the right extractor.

Should be fine. Easier to drill too.

The tricky part with drilling the hole is to get it started. Use a hole starter or sharp punch to make a little indentation right dead center on the broken stud. If you go too off center, the hole you drill might mess up the inner threads of the plug hole.

if u do mess up the threads all u will need to do is rethread it and that isnt very hard at all so its a win win situation

drilling the bolt really sucks, especially in that location where metal is going to enter the water jacket. a trick i learned is to get a dremel and make a slot in the top, then use an impact driver to bang the bolt out.should be no thread dage this way,or foreign matter in your waterjacket. impact drivers are awesome if you don't already own one.no more stripped screws...ever.
