And you can too...

As is so often the case greatness is born from simple ingredients.. Start with bacon, cheese and potatos...

Cook the bacon, and crumble it

Peel the potato and grab a cheese grater.

Potato + cheese grater = hash browns.

However at this point our hash browns are far to soaked with potato juice to cook. I find the easiest way is to grate them onto tin foil, fold the foil in half then press it between your hands over the sink to squeeze the juices out. Salad spinner will work too, as well as pressing it between paper towels (though a good bit of juice comes out so make sure to have a good few layers)Once you get out as much juice as you can use pam or oil to coat the bottom of the frying pan, dump the potato in then press flat...

Cook the first side slightly less then you typically would. It usually takes ~3 minutes so only give it a minute or two instead... Just long enough that it wont come apart while flipping.

Flip and cook the other side completely... ~ 3 minutes until nicely browned.

Flip back to the side we only cooked partially, and with the finished side up cover in a thin layer of cheese and bacon crumbles. Add more cheese.

Once the cheese is melted enough to stick in place fold the hash brown in half, and finished cooking until both sides are browned.

No pictures of the finished product... I meant too, but I ate it instead (and it was ****ing great).

Actually I did take pictures, but I apparently didn't save them. Honestly if you really need pictures to figure how to fold a hash brown over on its self its likely you will never achieve greatness anyways, and this guide is not for you.

Edit: never mind the spelling error in the title... I was still coming down from the rush of my accomplishment (plus Firefox doesn't auto check that field, and I am not that smart )

It's not that, I just love irony.

You know, if I was a mod I would've fixed your title and edit'd the sigs of whoever was quoting you....thus a great turnaround.

Hmm, does it? I thought it was a little odd to have this whole angry CAPS tirade and just "bungholes" in the middle of it.

See, you need to wrap all this up in a tortilla. Oh man I get this all the time at our local taco place that's open 24 hours on the weekend. Potato bacon cheese tacos ftw...

I don't know what you're all talking about. The thread title is spelled fine...

Looks good. I'd modify it a bit: needs to be accompanied with eggs. Together with some Tobasco or Cholula you've got a plate of WIN.
