i have a popping or clunk noise coming from my car and i don't know what it is and i cant figure out where it comes from. sometimes it sounds like the front sometimes the rear. from what i can tell when my suspension loads on the passenger side it pops in the front and when i take a slow right turn(10mph) it pops and i cant tell where from.

it started last Friday and its not getting any louder or changing at all.

my car is lowered on eibach sportline 2" drop with tokico blue(not blown) i just put progress F&R sway bars on with solid end links.

when i installed the sway bars it said to adjust the end-links so they don't bind. i cant tell if they are binding just because i cant move the suspension

the only things i can think of is the endlink and inner /outer tie rods.

i have checked all the bolts and everything is tight, and i even loosened and re-torque them down again.

My guess would probably be on the sway bars. The swaybars may be hitting something. Jack it up, and look for marks where it may be rubbing, or hitting ie oil pan.

Check ball joints, tie rod ends too.

Try this page and scroll down to the S13 Front Top Bearing Mount Insulator and read the article. This was my problem too until I fixed it. http://www.pdm-racing.com/products/suspension.html

sounds like the shocks were put together wrong ie. the springs may not be in the proper seat.might be a good idea to check this out.

thanks for all the help but i got it fixed... helps when you read the instructions and not look at the pictures. i forgot to put grease on the bushings so they were sticking to the sway bars and when it would pop it was the poly bushing slipping on the bar. so that is why i couldn't figure out where the noise was. but in my search i did see where my steering dust boots are starting to crack so I'm going to change that out
