Alright I was having problems on how i would get my ecu tuned for this set up:1) Turbo t3/t4, .50A/R and .48 exhaust housing .50 trim2) Custom ex. manifold 3) tial wastegate 4) down pipe 5) braided oil lines for the turbo 6) Full cat-back exhaust 7) ssautochrome intercooler 8) Greddy type rs BOV 9) Blitz dual SBC boost controller 10) Z32 MAFS w/ SAFCII11) Delphi 750ccplaning on boosting 20psi for drag racing and 10 psi normally.

So to solve the problem i'm going to miami and will be around the miami springs area and i'm taking my ecu with me.

So anyone know a shop in miami i could take my ecu to get tuned?

Also when i give them my ecu what should i tell them to do.

I've only got one shot to do this and i'm leaving on wednesday so i really need help.

would it be better for me to tell them my set up and engine and tell them to tune it for my set up?

Or should i tell them to socket my ecu and purchase a ecu chip burner and a pocket romulator and do my own tuning?

Ok, that's not really how it works. The person tuning it needs to know specifically about the CA ecu. First off, to get your ECU socketed, just take it to a TV repair shop. The one here in town quoted me $15 to remove eprom and solder in the socket. The only equipment you need to burn the chip is an eprom programmer which you can get off ebay for $40. The eproms themselves are pretty cheap. You can just use Live Edit to make the base settings such as injectors and maf.

Now this would be a rare event when i take my ecu to the tv repair shop which means that i would have to tell them exactly what i want done.

does anyone have a diagram of where i should tell them to put the socket. Also what type and size socket should i tell them to put.

Or should i tell them to remove any chip in the ecu and replace it with a socket?

There is only one eprom on the ecu, it is located on the main board underneath the daughter card, so you need to remove the daughter card which is held down with four screws. After removing the daughter card, you will see a 28 pin chip with a glass window in the middle of it. The chip is located in the left corner under the daughter card. Make sure they don't damage your stock chip just incase you decided you want to put back the original parts on your engine.
