i have a question

i have been trying to research superchargers for the vg30e engines... thats whats in my 93 hardbody.... my original idea was twin turbo an swap heads to the dohc instead of the sohc.... but im goin for somethin a lil different....

I found some SCs for the desert runner frontiers but theyre 3.3s instead of 3.0.... will the 3.3 heads intake an sc fit on the 3.0 block? or will the SC an intake fit on the 3.0 heads? either sohc or dohc....

any information as to if itll work an what all ill need to make it work is well appreciated

There's people out there that have done a SC setup for the Z32 with the VG30DE engine, but a problem was the they couldn't fit the stock hood back on without modification... The SC would add 3-4 inches of extra height, just to give you an idea of what you would be getting into.

Just FYI, this should have been posted in the VG series engine forum, not the Z32 technical.

i didnt realize there was a vg forum... i apologize.... i have a custom 4" cowl on the truck now.... but im gonna build another one here soon.... do you know where to find the sc kit or can tell me what all will be needed to use the factory one for the time being?
