:help I have a question for anyone with an answer. I just got my 240 2 weeks ago. The engine gets a little warm, and i was wondering if there was any way to put vents in the hood to release the heat without having to buy a new hood. If anybody can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I suggest finding out why she's running hot, before messing up your clean hood with vents. You just bought it, so might need something simple like a thermostat, or new hoses. Sometimes just taking a pressure hose and blasting the debris out from between the radiator grates is all that's needed. (that last one worked for my ol' 240. She actually ran a little cooler after I did it).Good luck
