I have a question.

What is the Oil Pressure suposed to be at? When I start it and and slowly accelerate, oil pressure jumps to about 75. When it warms up its goes down to about 50. And in Idle when warmed up it sits at about 15-20.

Is that good or do I need to start doing some looking around?

i had that same question...is there any way to regulate it? im obviously worried when it peaks up all of a sudden...

I think that's normal, I "think" it's because when the engine goes under load it gives more power to the oil pump.

Yeah when i go up a hill or around a sharp curve the oil pressure goes crazy. but now that i am using nissan oil filter and 10w-30 mobile one, oil pressure stays at 60psi and wont come down. I would think that normal is 30 at idle and 60 while im driving but the needle doesent budge. its Better to have good pressure than no presure at all, its just that when im at a stop light and at 60psi it struggles to take off(seems like its bogging down) and then all of a sudden starts to act normal. When im at 30psi and at a red light it takes off with now problem. Whats the deal?

See, thats why I'm thinking there is something wrong with mine. While driving I stay right around 30-40. However when I'm sitting there, not moving the oil pressure drops right down to 0-10. Any suggestions? This can't be right.

yeah mine does the same thing. Hopefully thats normal. I know the its going to be high when I start it up, but after it warms up, why is it so low?

Its normal for the oil pressure to change due to speed and temperature. The oil pump is engine driven, so the pressure will change with engine speed. Thicker oil (like at start-up) will cause the pressure to be higher than thinner oil (when the engine has warmed up).
