i was reading the discription and it says "Serial data stream included for output of AFR (RS 232)" <<---what is this???

is this so u can hook up a laptop to record the AFR?

Yes, it is for connection of an RS232 style port. What you and I would call a serial connection. You could hook it to a laptop, palmtop, or any other computer with this sort of connector. They use it because it is a standard style port for PC and Mac and it has been around since the first PCs and Macs.

what would you need to do to get it to display on the laptop though. Could you have the uego hhoked up to your laptop w/o a gauge and display the afr . Sorry I am tune and computer illiterate. I havent gotten that far yet. I still have to get the damn motor together first. I understand how to work one but not all the conections and how to put together. Thanks!

thanks for all the replys. i ended up ordering this wideband o2... http://www.dynotunenitrous.com...t=149 ..it uses the LC-1, with there gauge.. u can hook it up to a laptop also for data logging..

o man u shoulda checked with our sponsors..........marty T has the lc-1 plus innovative's gauge for the same price u payed. difference with innovative's gauge is that it can be surface mounted as its less than half as thick as a normal gauge. but nonetheless, let us know how it goes for u.
