Does everyone leave their ac vent opened or closed? I like to keep mine closed, especially now cuz of the Cali fires, and I don't want to smell all that ash particles and such. But some people say you should leave it on, then others say it should be closed... Is there actually a reason it should opened/closed?

i noticed that i keep that "new car smell" (from the detailers) if i keep my vents closed and use recirculate.
