you can search around the forums a bit and you'll find plenty of information. just click the search button at the top of the page and search the altima sections and you'll get a fair number of results. you'll get more info by reading old posts about intakes as they have tons of reviews and descriptions

Hi man,

I am no pro on all the different types so I am not much help there.

You can buy intakes from a lot of different places, including ebay. But If you want top notch service and company rep try Stillen. They sell a handfull of different kits. You may pay a little more that you would off ebay, but you cant beat their service record and reputation.http://www.stillen.com/browse....LTIMA

I think your local auto parts shops can special order some. I know Autozone and Pepboys can special order the K&N sets, not sure how good their pricing will be tho.

But check out stillen, they sell a lot of other good add ons and mods too.

Most of the ones available for our cars are more or less the same. The K&N and AEM intakes have a little different set-up but also cost quite a bit more. A bunch of people on here like the INJEN intake. As far as Dry-Flow, goes, it is a different type of filter media. The INJEN, K&N (intake as well as the drop-in filters), and most of the others all use a gauze filter that is oiled with a high-tack oil to catch the dirt. You clean and re-oil it every once in awhile. The Dry-Flow filters are not oiled, but can be cleaned and reused as well.

If you have a 2.5, I am selling my barely used INJEN intake. Check out my sig for details. Nothing bad to say about it, in fact I liked it a lot. Just selling it to get some extra money for appliances/furniture in the new house.
