Well there is this 89 240 in my town I'm looking at. It's 1000 bucks and has some cheap rims with a lip, pignose front :yesnod half custom straight pipe exhaust, and it has no backseats or a radio. It's got 180000 miles with the sohc engine in it. I have not driven it yet but it cranks right up. But the main big deal is that he doesn't have the title. The guy he bought it from never sent him the title. He lives in Georgia and the guy I'm talking to is going to Georgia this week to get the title.

So the main question is do yall think I should try to go threw with it or just move on to another one. The guy would have to go get the title or a duplicate then switch it to NC and all of that. Its not in bad shape at all I mean it could use some paint but I don't care about that in my opinion. But should I go threw all of this?

wait to see if he can get the title.......

i live in Georgia and i have had to deal with something like this before, in order to file for a lost title you would need to have the last REGISTERED owner file for the title, and from the sounds of it that would be the owner before the guy your talking to, he would then have to sign the title over to you, or to the current owner, wait 30 days for the title to transfer then have the current owner sign it over to you, its a pain

Unless there's a title, don't do it. The guy you're gonna buy it from WILL NOT help you to get the title as soon as he gets your money. Trust me don't do it.

If it doesn't have a title don't buy it. Really not worth the hassle, especially on a 240.

Lol, track car ftw! Man, if you're gonna use it as a daily driver, don't do it unless the current owner gets the title. He probably stole it from the previous owner. <.< Haha jk. But seriously, just wait it out, or go get another 240 that's better lookin'. There are so many in the SC and NC area.

Exactly.

Only buy without title if you're buying it for the parts.
