I have a problem

ok i have a 89 240sx and i am putting a new timing chain in and i cant find anywere that has the driver side timing chain guild the one that is only like an inch long. And the nissan dealership said to take it off i dont need but then wouldent it be slapping against metal? Does anybody know were i could find one

What they said is true. You don't need it, and no , it won't touch the metal. I removed both of them. If you still want it i'll send you mine if i can find it in the garage, all you have to do is pay for the shipping c.o.d.
