i have a stock ka24e and i just replace the timing chain tensioner and now when i got everything back together and when i start the car, the RPM would jump up to 2000rpm and it would slowly come down to 1200prm.......everything would run fine but when i took it out for a drive, it felt like it lost alot of power because when i give it gas the car wouldn't even go as fast as it used to be, so i need help on what could cause this problem. And another thing......timing is off but it shouldn't make this big of power lost.....

Timing is off? That can make a difference in power... I would fix that first before you say anything else is wrong.
