Make sure you run a oil restrictor if you want it to last. I've seen a few blown ones at their shop.

Like we said on the phone, it's not a genuine Holset, but it looks like a decent copy. Might be worth upgrading the compressor to the 6 or 7 blade compressor for more flow, but it's tough to tell how big that exhaust housing actually is from the pics. Should be a nice bump in power from the HX35. One thing to keep in mind if you don't like the increased lag of the 40, you could always get the 7 blade HX35 compressor wheel and housing and upgrade that. I think it's supposed to be somthing like 70-80hp and flow almost as much as the 8 blade HX40 wheel does.

I'm interested.. why the upgrade to 40 besides 'bigger'?

You never heard the saying" bigger is better,".....lol

If thats a 5 bolt exhaust housing, you can use the ATP ultimate internal wastegate.Maybe.... those stock flappers might be a larger diameter since it was for a Diesel.

Yeah check out the site then look up the ultimate internal gate. You can see the bolt pattern and maybe get the measurements. But if you have a ewg already then do t bother.

I think im gonna get the STEC manifold for choice. Might as well since its been proven from our fellow NICO member.....Just trying to find out how much shipping will be to the states?? And im prepared to modify the wastegate elbow if needed....500whp here I come.
