i have a misfire

so tuesday i changed the spark plugs and wiresever since ive had this misfire where it idles at 700 rpm then it drops to 500 rpm.Its shut off on the at a stop sign.Took it to the mechanic and he says its the injector wiring .im like it happened after i changed the spark plugs and wires.i gapped the according to the oem's specs (.038-.043)i gapped them at .041

i just re checked the gap its.040changed the spark plugs to the old ones its running better but i still have the same problem.the new plugs barely made contact with the cap,cable running to cylinder#4 broke.

could it be that i need to purchase oem spark plug cables?

found the problem.injector wires are bad on cylinder 3 and 4.need to be replaced.i need a new injector wiring harness or repair this one.it seems to be at the connector.motor runs fine but my mechanic showed me once the injector wire is moved from the engine vibration.The engine starts to choke.all he did was move the wire where it meets the injector.

is it ok to drive the car?i work like 10 mins away.Would this condition cause further damage?

fix the plug wires and drive it till you can fix the injectors, its probably not going to cause any permanent damage
