You'll need different stuff for a ka24e. Basically it's a single overhead cam motor as opposed to a Dual OHC motor. The SOHC engines seem to take boost just as well as the DOHC (at least at lower PSI levels) but there isn't as much developed for them since there aren't as many out there.

Try searching for Gladman Performance or go here, http://www.jgstools.com/turbo/index2.html, for ka24e manifolds.

Just research research research before you do anything and checkout the KA-T forums on here.

Yes you'll need a different manifold for the E. As far as I know the DE manifold doesn't even line up. Refer to my previous post for people who sell ka24e manifolds.

Are you using a Jim Wolf tune? Do you already have it? If so, what are the details on it?

Which wastegate do you intend to run?

What are your power goals?

How much PSI?

Are you going to run it off the wastegate or use a boost controller?

BTW, welcome to Nico. Your profile says you're a tech who or what are you a tech for Brandon?

Just so you know, there are 2 KA24Es. Engines from 012039+ have a compression ratio of 8.6:1, engines before that are 9.1:1. The ID number is located on the exhaust side of the block between cylinders 2 & 3. That's just something to think about when you go boost. 350HP seems high for the stock internals. Good luck.

How much do you plan on doing?

If I had it to do over I would get a DE. There are many advantages and parts are much easier to come by and will go in a lot easier and neater. The SOHC will often make you the odd man out and that's not good when it comes to motors.

^^^ that is exactly why I switched over to the DOHC. When it comes to parts ect for the SOHC alot of it is DIY. I did 3 ka24e-t all together... when i should have really just done one DE-T.
