I think she's got an ugly beak and needs a nose job. Dont get me wrong I LOVE the car overall, but something about the side view just gives me an eh. The styling could have been better. I need to wait until some good kits come out to fix her up a little.

I repeat, i still love the car. Just wish the front was a little better. I'm an ex beemer and i've always liked the front ends of BMW's and Audi's.

Am i solo on this one? I do love her sexy a$$ though. She's got some junk in the trunk and it aint my golf clubs.

we don't take too kindly to your kind around here

just kidding

I love the side profile myself, the best angle is a side view from the back

This is my theory, and I don't know if somebody else has had the same feeling about this. I think that Automakers purposely make cars not "complete" for styling and leave that to their luxury brands. Take a look at the Infiniti's and tell me they suck designing with style. Nissan makes a cheap(er) sports coupe, and makes the back hot as hell, but leaves the front not so pleasant. Honda makes the front super aggressive and hot, but has the ugliest *** ever... I say it's done on purpose!

I gotta agree with that especially with the honda's. The accord coupe has a really nice front end, but damn the a$$ made me want to throw up, thats why I chose the Altima over the Accord.

The front end seems to round, i need a little angle thrown in there otherwise it ends up looking like the infiniti Q's from the mid 90's (HORRIBLE looking cars btw)

It's most definitely the grill that makes it look "Mommy mobileish" .. the grill looks better without the cleft palate but Nissan has always done that look.

not always true...i bought a 350Z yesterday but a G35 is the best choice bc it has four seats. But i just can't stand the look of the G and the Z looks 10X better. For the most part, i still agree with your theory tho

In my opinion the 350 Z looks like a hot wheels toy compared to the G.

Absolutely agree with you bud. I just sold my 330i for this. When I bought it though, I saw a lot potential with it. That's my slate gray coupe pictured above. It can be made to look good

addidas2go i've got the same color as you and that front bumper makes a MAJOR difference. I dig it. In the other thread about potential stillen kits, i liked the V-shape and the mesh in that order.

How much did you pay for the bumper/paint/installation? Is it something that can be installed easily by a DIY'r or should it be left to the pros at the body shop?

One thing I dont like about all the after market kits is that they get ride of the fog lights.. i like the foggies.

I think the Stillen front bumper makes all the difference in the world with the AC. I'm not a big fan of the stock bumper either. Everything else on the car looks great (especially the ***), but the front just doesn't match the styling of the rest of the car.

I have a conspiracy theory.

I think they purposely ****ed up the altimas front to make it get worse gas milage and not steal sales from infinity g35/37.

Heres whats supporting my theory.

The Nissan Versa lists its CD. Drag coefficient (Cd) as .31The 350z lists its cd. as .30

The altima lists its cd as? oh wait they purposely didnt list it, the front lip that sticks upward defintly would ruin the CD on the already seamless body.

I think the stillen full fascia would give a better cd becuase less air is gonna get under the car and improve looks to a almost g35(at least i think so).

Also go look at the pictures of the versa and altima, i swear the dam versa looks like its lower than the altima.
