I have a 99 2x4 with no start no spark no codes need help

My 99 2x4 died while going down the road going 65 it will turn over but will not start. Pulled spark plug wire and had no spark. Check for codes no code any ideas

im assuming when you said wires your truck has a distributor. have you pulled the cap off and looked inside? my old ka ate 2 distributors but had the same symptoms. Fired it up one day to let it run (roughly 15ish degrees outside and it just died.

If this was my old datsun truck I'd check for spark from the coil itself. I've had my coil go out or even thr rotor button, The truck was before they even had OBD codes, so it could be the ECM preventing the spark due to a sensor output?

99 2x4 doesn't tell me much about make model engine etc... but I;m new to this forum.
