I have a 91 240sx....but it won't reverse. need help
Just got one. I have so many plans as far as conversions and paint jobs, but before I can run I need to walk and the thing doesn't even reverse. Hopin someone can help me out.

me too. problem is, the guy I got it from was tampering with the transmission before he was deployed....as far as I'm concerned I'm hoping it was the reverse linkage he messed up, I'm wonderin what I need and how I fix that.

a new transmission will run you about 100 bucks. Buy one. Im not gonna rip you a new one for giving a very uninformed post but please give us some more details. does it just not go into the gear? is it an automatic? does it go in but just not go anywhere (thats what she said). does go into the gear and pop out of it? Please. We cant help you if we dont know whats wrong with your car. please post more information and we will be glad to help you out.

she runs just fine, does everything perfectly....all the gears are right except that reverse is being a pain. Sorry for the uninformed post, I'm not too familiar with these forums, this my first oneDogChasinCars wrote:she's an auto

i got a simple fix for that issue, drive your butt down here to Columbia SC and get this dang auto transmission thats sitting in my yard, all it will cost you is gas and time to come get it.
