i just bought a 2007 nissan versa sedan,it has a bout 5000 miles, this morning on my way to work i notice a clicking noise on the right front on the panel, i notice that when i go pass 60 the clicking noise starts while driving over 60. i let go of the gas pedal and the clicking noise stops but if i press the gas again it starts. but once i decrease speed i can give it gas the clicking noise wont come on, this alkl happens when i go over 60 miles per hour. what is this about?

Does this noise also manifest itself while taking tight corners in parking lots and such? This almost sounds like a defective CV joint... can you describe the clicking noise? i.e. is it metallic sounding, and which panel is this coming from?

Also, does it matter if the A/C is turned on or off? Does your car have ABS?

I'm not sure that I'd be too quick to say this is CV-joint related, as I've never encountered a CV-joint issue that only occurred over 60 mph. Also, a clicking CV-joint would click whether the gas pedal was pressed or not.

So we're gonna need some clarification, versakid. Is it an auto/CVT/6-speed manual? Also, like he asked above, what "panel" are you referring to?

It's awfully hard to describe and figure out strange noises in a car. As long as everything is stock, I'd say take it in to your dealer - it's under warranty.

is more like a plastic clicking sound , it sounds almost like when you try to stop a spining plastic fan with a pencil or something. and the sound comes from passenger side were like the air bag is. and no i have not turn the ac on.

I've got it! Some Versa owners have complained about a "flapping" noise at highway speeds; it's caused by a loose, or defective weatherstrip around the windshield.

Hey, I'm bound to be right at least once! Ironically, I've never had that problem, and I've had mine up to 90 MPH.
