...in GranTurismo 3. I just bought a 80K turbo kit after selling my Zonda c12, and I need some help. The Skyline cant steer at all, any suggestions?

i never was any good at the GT series, i just loved slapping every part on the car that i could and then pretending i could drive it if i had to guess anything i would say back down the horsepower some and regain some handling, or check your suspension settings

for the Skyline? Sure I will when I get a chance. I think I have Stage 2 weight reduction, and 3 way LSD

part of the issue there... 1.5 way is all you need. and you mean 2way which is a fully locked diff for the most part and is better used on tracks with long straight aways. with the 2way you will more than likely go into drift mode with the car.

there is no need for the fully customizable diff either.

Another Suggestion Get GT4.

how do you make them drift? Cause in arcade mode you can set the car to drift or race, but on sim mode you need the right parts correct?

Easy, usually i find any of the rwd japanese cars, i started out with the ae86 Trueno.

Turn off ASM and TCS off in the options menu, buy simulation tires.

LSD initial setup 6lsd acel- 7Decel - 8

Spring rate varies on different cars, i adjust mine to a little over the minumum.

Damping, Toe and Camber I leave alone.

And then get everything else you need to reach optimum power.

Its just too much power. Its a beast in a straight line but death around corners, even with everything you can install and tuned..it might get better but not practical for a real race, except the test course. I had the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak car with somewhere around 1260hp... turning is impossible.

Escudo for me was only used on super speedway and test course.

Anyone that can complete complex string (like nurburgring on steroids) with an Escudo in a decent amount of time deserves a pro title.

Your car is making 1000+ hp but 123 ft.lbs.Are you sure it's not a Honda? Also you are using a 1974 Hitachi tv... You have more issues then why you can't turn.

The reason your car cant turn is because your HP and TQ levels are so high that your car computers are getting way to involved. Try driving without the stabilization, traction control ect...

You will see why you cant turn. With those systems turned-off you wont be able to drive your GT-R in a stright line. After driving with those off you will turn down the boost...Also try buying the stage 3 kit. It will spool quicker and get your lap times much faster lap times.

Doing a few endurance races can help you get an F1 car which help you out soo much in doing the harder races like gt world championchip. Helps you roll in more $$$$
