hi guys,i have searched the site but have not gotten specific answers and thus decided to post.I have a 2000 pathfinder and have 3 issues which am facing:
1. the speakers dont work, the headunit(radio) works fine in every mode (cd, radio etc) but sound only comes out from the driver side tweeter. Sometimes the other speakers work but then stop.is this a wiring issue ort are the speakers done?
2. Both rear windows cannot be rolled down using the driver side master switch/control. every other button on the driver side master switch works except for the rear windows.when the switches for the windows are actually pressed at the rear individually, they work fine.I made sure the window lock thingy was not activated.so in simple words, the 2 rear windows cannot be controlled by the driver master switch.Is there something i can reset or fix or is the entire driver side master switch due for replacement?
3. My pathfinder does not come with sidesteps. can these be afixed manually? and how much should i be looking to spend on these be it from a shop or junkyard.Thanks just1time

Honestly have no clue for 1 and 2. But for 3 i have a pair of running board for sale. Looking for 200 obo.

If the speakers work, even a little bit, it is probably not the speakers, but maybe a short in the wiring or loose connection somewhere, or the radio is going bad in those channels. I'd suggest looking for something loose first.
As for the windows. I'd bet that your master (driver's door) switches are a problem. If the window lockout is on, none of the other three windows will work with their own switch, even the passenger front window. Try that first. If the passenger works without the lockout on, then it's probably the back switches. You can unplug a switch that works on the master and replug one of the back windows plug into that switch to see if the switch is bad or not. I bought switches on ebay, they aren't too bad to get a new master. But you can figure out if the two switches are bad just by using the good one as a test. They are pretty easy to take apart and move around.
