I have 3 Handling questions for RB25det owners.

Discuss the RB20, RB25 and RB26 series engines.

Many have said that 240's with RB's will not affect your handling and many have said that it will completley mess up the hanling (like more understeer for instance).

This question is more for the drivers of 240sx's with rb25det's since they have felt the differences of how the car handles with the engine.

1.Can you feel any handling differences on the street? 2. Have you taken it to a track yet? (autocrossing or road racing events)If yes, in a corner, how does the car react when the tires are almost at their traction limit compared to when you had the KA24/SR20/CA18 engine? 3. Would you recommend autocrossing, or road racing an RB25det powered 240sx?

---------Thanks

Im going to answer your questions only because this is a well laid out post BUT this has been covered MANY times before and a short search would have yelided the answer. please search in the future.

1) street? not really. just faster

2) there is a weight difference up front but it not that noticable and something that can easily be adjusted to by the driver.

3) sure. why not? its not that big of a difference. the majority of the weight difference is in the transmission wich is centered in the car.

3) If your goal is autocrossing I would probably go sr20. It is not that you can't autocross with the rb, it is just more muscle then you need to autocross.

My car handles great at the limit and is very controllable. Tein Flex coilovers, tanabe control arms and Poly bushings all come to gether to make one hell of a good handling car. O and if you haven't tried them, Falken Azensis Sport tires are sticky fun.
