One day you'll learn the less work someone does and the easier it is, the more they get paid.

< currently working at vato zone. eh it sucks but what evz, it pays the bills. till the car is running again and i get my DL back.

heres a few gripes of mine.

most ppl working in auto parts stores shouldnt be. they know d!ck about cars. nor do they care to learn. the only reason they where hired in the first place was to have just another warm body in the store.

vato zone doesnt keep many ppl there that actually know anything. simple reason. the pay sucks ***. tho there are a few that are trapped there for teh time being. but seriously would you expect a chef at McDonalds? then why would you expect an ase certif. mechanic at vato zone?

wrong parts are not always the vato zone employees fault. i mean seriously sending your hooker GF's into the store for parts they know nothing about sucks. ~whats the year, make, model and engine size? Oh uhm its a v8 ford truck. *points out the front door* its the blue one right there" lol wtf.

it isnt vato zones policy to put in your damn head lights, alt, water pumps, change tires, freon, pull your starters, change your solenoids and etc. its a damn do it yourself store. in others words your *** either does it or you can take it to someone else that can.

lol. just because the damn commercial says we can check the damn idiot lights. this does not mean that your car has one. nor does it mean that we are suppose to turn the damn thing off. when i show it to you in writing. dont get all like we'll you all have done it before. my name isnt you all and im not doing it. lol.

yes i work on cars. no im not trying to work on yours. begging, bribing and waving cash in my face will not change my damn mind. its like rape. no means ****ing no.

not all problems are an easy or cheap fix. e.g. rod knock. no matter how much lucas, 20w50 or what ever else you want. it isnt going to make it stop. deal w/ the facts. it needs to be properly fixed.

if you dont know wtf you are doing. chances are pretty damn good you shouldnt be touching it. thats why there are shops. lol. go to one.

if you go to a shop and they told you its gonna be xxx amount of dollars to put a motor in. dont come to me asking if i know of someone cheaper. specially if they are only going to charge you 400.00.

when im at the damn counter getting parts someone. I dont need your scrawny crack head looking ***. trying to either bump the person out of the way i am talking too, or trying to talk over the customer i am w/ just so you can run in and run out. first come first serve. deal w/ it.

if you decide to come into the store i work in and rant and ****ing rave about the wrong radiator sold to you. w/ a receipt in the other damn hand, while looking like you have turrets. make sure your bought it at vato zone. not the ****ing advanced auto down the street. this also includes batteries. you damn morons. lol.

when you are looking for certain parts for your car and i tell you its not available to vato zone. that you need to go to a dealership for it. another store isnt going to have it. learn how to ****ing comprehend. lol.

pointing out the obvious doesnt help you at all. "you act like a know it all *******." you absolutely right. i am. i am an *******. the same ******* that knows what you need and how to fix your problems. Im also the same ******* that prides himself on very rarely selling the wrong part to anyone. I dont do i think its a ....... its a waste of my time, the companies time, your mechanics time, your times. but most of all my time. lol. come back when you know what vehicle you have.

for the love of god. i dont mind kids. they actually make me lol thru out the day. but do everyone a favor its a damn auto parts store not toys r us. keep an eye on em. there are things there that will **** them up. if you dont seem to understand this. your privelagde as a parent should be revoked.

no i dont speak another language. but i will do my best to help everyone. when im helping you. i dont want to hear about how much you hate hispanics or blacks. when i tell you i dont care about your views, beliefs, politics, or opinion. leave it at that.

if i tell you i know nothing about a/c other than remove and throw it away. but then say. let me get someone that knows more about it for ya. this is not the time to tell me how you think it all works. i dont care to know anything about it. nor am i trying to learn it from someone that starts a lesson w/ i think. lol. wtf

i could go on and on about it but its 2am and there isnt enuff time in a week to list all of my complaints.

My problem with you silly Auto Zone employees is that they always hire people like you who know next to nothing about all cars. I figure that since your company doesn't specialize in one kind of car, PERHAPS you should hire someone who has a general knowledge of all cars, JUST MAYBE??!?

Your complaint is silly and completely un-warranted IMO. That may be one of the few jobs I would agree with the supervisors point of view. His contract with the company is probably to simply manage you guys and handle commercial stuff.

If I were hired to simply do one job and not another, I wouldn't go out of my way to help another guy with his duties either. It doesn't make sense to help another guy do HIS job when I'm not getting paid any extra to do that. Especially when he gets paid crap too. I used to work in one of these horrible Retail jobs once, you couldn't pay me to do it again.
you sir are correct.

i worked in a parts plus before and it was the second best job ive ever had. town of 4000 ppl so it was never too busy and the prices were great. only one other parts store in the town, and the hicks that worked there were total bungholes to everyone that didnt drive a truck. i brought in so much business with my friends because of the car i drove and the way i behaved.

my boss also told me that the customer is NOT always right. but to play along with them if they want the wrong thing and when they come back say "oh,... that wasnt right? it was great.

I don't know in which autozone u work but where I work everybody is cool specially the store manager. I get you man there is always one gray shirt that is a ***hole, but remember to tell the commercial to get his a** up and go to front counter. 1 TEAM!!! tell him that. Also tell your store manager he/she should do something about it if not tell the district manager and if not call the CORPORATION.

I've never worked for the zone, back then they were quite horrible where I lived. I've worked for about every other big name in the auto parts biz though.

Google searched maybe....
Someone who has a beef with autozone, and just wants to post a rant.
Google "I hate autozone", and this thread is one of the first forums on the results page.
Sorry, first post like this = troll... just sayin'.
