I've been using Dri-Wash n' Guard since 95 and have always been impressed with the depth and protection on my Miata, Q, and Jeep. I was talked into worshiping at the Church of Zaino two years ago. Here's my "opinion" of the product. What a long drawn out process, we're talking a full weekend of work and downtime just for a Miata! Yes the shine was great, but every bird crud and tree dripping would pit the outer layer. The bottom line for me, too much $$$, too much work, not enough protection to use it twice. After one bout with touching up the Zaino, I gave up, and stripped the whole car with Dawn. I kept the Zaino claybar, gave the unused product to a neighbor, and went back to the Dri-Wash. Helper monkeys could make Dri-Wash look great on a car. I always prep the paint once a year with a claybar anyway. Usually all I do now is sweep the car with a Calif. Duster and it looks ready as new. I keep 2 towels in the trunk, one for to get off the bugs and a dry one to buff it back out. After getting the Q I've used it ever since. I can Dri-Wash the Q in 30 minutes tops. Crud just doesn't stick that well once there are a couple of coats on. The concrete dust is the worst (+12pH), mix that with a few sprinkles of rain and spots are unavoidable. I'm sure someone will bag on the Dri-Wash product because of the network marketing aspects but then again Sal at Zaino keeps his distribution very limited. As far as I'm concerned, a polymer is a polymer no matter who makes it, Enviro-Tech or Zaino. I've won two Show n' Shines with the Dri-Wash product...yes it's also expensive but at least I dont spend the whole weekend waiting for step #1-5 to dry!
