Sorry, I just want to vent and see if anyone else feels the same.
I have a 1998 Nissan Quest. And I am just getting so frustrated with this van at times.
I really hate Ford and why did Nissan have to go into collaboration with them.

All at once my dash lights start blinking, my temp gauge starts jumping, my rear blower fails (and I resodered the control panel last year), my locks are sticking (again). AAARRRGGGHHH! What next. I already changed a leaky coolant line near the firewall under the intake manifold last week.

Seriously, I hate Ford vans.
My dad owned an Aerostar back in the day and that piece of crap gave the same issues and more.
I love Nissan but hate this collaboration. I am glad they stopped it.

the only good thing about Ford's collaboration is that they have made sure the engines are non-interference

...so you can prolong your timing belt interval without any catastrophic damage if the belt decides to break

other than that, I am also replacing various cheap ford parts on my 2002 quest as well! :dblthumb:

Yeah, I forgot about that. I still prefer chain over belt.

These are really nice vans but too many minor issues that drive me crazy at times.
