I hate stealerships, I hate stealerships, I HATE STEALERSHIPS!!! Did I mention that I hate stealerships?

Don't laugh. The local Lexus dealership (we only have one  ) has a special edition car that I want soooo bad. They won't budge on price. $1000 off their car and only $19k for mine. My car is in excellent condition and low miles. He knows I love it and he is playing hard ball. I guess it wasn't smart to go in there and take pics of it and text them to everybody.

I know it is an old lady car, and yes....I realize it only has 204 hp. I just love it. It is so cute. I love the rims. I just don't see giving them my paid for Z and $30,000.

Help me get it out of my mind. I have tried for a week and a half. :frown:

You have to see past the prettiness to the lack of POWER....

Was in heavy traffic. Couldn't really drive it too hard. Of course, it is very luxurious. I had so much fun with my S2000. I miss a conv't, but don't want to do the ragtop again.

I live and drive through 3 of the biggest speed traps in Tennessee. :tisk: I hardly ever get over 40 mph most of the time unless I'm on the interstate.

It is a very heavy car. It takes a lot of motors and railing and crap to get that top down. It will go down in 21 seconds. At that point, you have about 1 cubic foot of trunk space.

Like I said. I have tried to talk myself out of it. I guess I should take the pic off my desktop. :squint: It keeps calling my name.

They are good looking with the top down, but a bit strange with the top up. it's a fairly heavy car for just 200 HP, although the G37 vert is the heaviest among lexus and BMW hardtop verts. the 350 ISC has 306 HP and a little more torque than the G37 vert, but it's not nearly as fun to drive or listen to while driving :) and you probably end up paying a little bit more than an Infiniti too! Still love my G37 vert from its inaugural year of 09. Find something else to distract you! lol

K. It is a done deal. Turns out that the owner of the dealership grew up and was best friends with the owner of my company's daughter. She got me in directly with him. He gave me $2k more for my Z, which I think is good. I only paid $28k for it. The idiot salesman had put down that my car has 42k miles and I only have 24k. Really....that is your job dude. He came $800 more off the IS.

I just think it is cute as it can be and I really think I'm going to enjoy it. I'm going to miss my Z. It was a fun car. Just a little hard for me to drive in all this stop and go traffic.

Can't wait to get my stereo with the 18 speakers. Yum!

The only reason I didn't go with the Infiniti is the fact that they closed the dealership close to where I work and moved it at least an hour away in horrible traffic. I don't understand why a city as big as Memphis can't have more than 1 of each of the luxury car dealerships. At least put them in the middle of the city or off a major interstate. :frown:

good for you! is it a 2013? Lexus always has good tech in the interior. I had a IS 350 sedan a few years back and I enjoyed it immensely, especially the interior.

Yes...I will. This Z has really been a good solid car. :tisk:

I always had my Z28 to fall back on when I got my need for speed. Now...I guess I'll be speedless.

Yes it is a '13. It has the F-Sport package which isn't any more speed goodies, but a lot of asthetic upgrades. That is why I was so determined to get THAT ONE. Lexus only made a few hundred with that package. I'll post a pic. Probably get it Friday.

Congrats....are you going to leave us now? :(

G'vert would have been better for you, IMO. 328hp helps it move. The front of that Lexus looks like they stole the design from a IPL.

We only have one Infiniti dealership as well...takes me 20 minutes or more to get there. I understand your pain.

Nevah! As long as y'all will have me....I'll be here. I imagine a Lexus message board would be pretty boring! ;)

Those stuffy Lexus people ;)

We have members who have not owned Nissan products for years who are always on. Hell, look at Joe, he's a moderator and does not own one :)

Didn't want a ragtop. I might drive this a few years and then spring for a C7. The stupid thing is starting to grow on me.

BTW, This is Lexie. I really am enjoying the luxury and all the toys. Until this morning on my way to work, I hadn't driven it a single mile with the top up. I just love a conv't. If it is over 65 and under 95, my top is down. Now I have heated and A/C seats! :woot:

Well thank the good Lord...that stuff doesn't bother me. I could make a line of it and snort it and it doesn't bother me.

Yeah, my car is more yellow than white.

Nobody touches my car but me. ;)

I tell you...that salesman I had was the biggest jerk I have every dealt with in my life. I hope Lexus sends me one of those big surveys to fill out like Inifiniti did. I'm going to NAIL the a-hole.

wow... two cars gone for you... whats going on?

i agree with the lexus interior being extra nice, but the lack of power is what steered me to infiniti...

is the engine worth modifing some for more power? 200 hp... idk if i could go backwards in power, but that might be because im still in my 20s

well as long as you are happy with your purchase, i'm happy for you :)

I could be real tacky and say that that had something to do with me getting the car, but as usual, I will behave.

:naughty:

Just don't do the joke about it being like a porcupine.

Right now my interior has more pollen then the exterior. :chuckle: I will get some time this weekend to clean the interior and put some protectant on it. I gotta get it up to my standards.
