I am simply amazed at the mentality of some people. I'd like to offer my opinion on what rice is. Now I should probably put on my flame suit since undoubtedly this is bound to happen. Get this...........

Rice is in the eye of the beholder....

Just think about it. What do some people consider rice? Most people I know lump every "import" into the category... Others tend to carry it on to any car with an obscene amount of stickers and aesthetics that make the car try to look fast, but in reality isn't. A smal few, myself included, have the opinion that rice is a mentality of the driver. After all, this person typically is the one that put all these rediculous "performance" parts on the car. This person thinks his car is fast, thinks that flying past his opponent after they shut down a few bus lengths ahead is winning, and usually the bigger the wing, the better..... even on front wheel drive.

Now I don't want you people to assume that because I heft one of the original Un4givin banners, I don't like you. Quite the contrary... This little game you have going right now, though quite childish, is very amusing. It's only proving my opinion to everyone I show this stuff to.

Why should anyone have to hide behind the anonymous posting? What do you have to fear from a bunch of "gay ricers?" Are you afraid someone might call mommy and daddy and you'll lose your precious anonymity?

To put this bluntly, and I do mean this in the nicest way possible.... but you are the rice mentality. I truly feel sorry for each and every one of the Nissans who's owner participated in this. They deserve real drivers. Not Ricers.

There are plenty of "performance ricers" or whatever you would like to call them who's cars would eat your stang's lunch in both the quarter and the curves. This forum does lean towards the more practical aspects of modification. Good luck finding any wings at all in members rides even on rwd cars.

Ahh yes, more of this..... More hating because of what someone drives. No matter that someone could race with a beast of a 'Cuda and still have a nice little civic or even a camaro in the garage.

Yes.... I do drive a Ford. Those who know me, know that I don't like Ford in general. I for one actually enjoy the history of the ponycar and respect most of the lineage. Granted... the majority of the 70s and 80s blew ***. There was a reason for that.

I for one, have a deep respect for the Silvia. Though I admittidly know very little about the car, I know what it's capable of. I will be the first to admit that I've lost to these little Nissans... Oh I can tell you stories of a few years ago when I first started driving my Mustang, I had many people try to race... yes, I know the Mustang sucks stock. But it's my choice of car. So deal with it. If you don't like it, smile like a donut, and act like a chicken.

As with everyone interested in performance, my car is not finished, nor is it remotely close. I do however, have a goal for it. 600rwhp and capable of alternating between the dragstrip, and any circle track. Nothing like the cheap redneck thrills of Talledega, more of something like Waltkins Glenn Speedway.

I'm not here to get into word wars with you people. I'm just here to ask nicely. Leave Un4givin alone, and we'll leave you alone.

As for the question of what's custom about Un4givin Customz? Why don't you look at when NICO was founded, how many members you have, and how long those people have had their cars. I will say this. We don't have too many people around. I don't know anything about the Louisian area, but I do know that where I'm at, there's an overabundance of "car clubs" in the area. This alone has hurt the image of a car club so much that it's hard to get the great custom cars to stop by, let alone join. We all have to start somewhere. Every car starts stock. It takes time, money, effort, and above all, motivation to make any car truly custom. It's taken me three years to get my car where I'm at. Yes with what I've spent so far I could've concentrated on one aspect of the car and excelled, instead, I went for all around competition. My car wins in car shows, sound competitions, and to a slightly lesser extent performance. How can anyone look at any one car and say that your car will beat it? You have no idea what they've done. Again, the rice mentality.

That said, I'm quite sure that the majority of Nissans on this site could beat me on the road. I don't drift my car, so all, even the stock ones, can easily beat me there. But drag, the simplest race of all, I'd say maybe half could beat me. If I'm wrong, oh well. I'm wrong. Boo Hoo. Losing a race here and there provides the motivation to do better, learn from your mistakes, and excel. How can you argue or put down that logic?

I'm off my soapbox.... feel free to delete me from your server if you so choose, I could care less. Stop posting on our sites, and we won't post on yours. If you have a problem with an Un4givin member, settle it in person, and not be a chicken**** behind the safety of the internet.

Once again Arkansas overshadows all with it's absolute lack of taste in cars. A few "car clubs" in Little Rock:Undergrownd CustomzOutK@$T <yes that is on their windshieldsImport TrenzLowered ExpectationsXtreem Limits

It's out of control...I get made fun of for having a tastefully lowered car with stock wheels and Falken Azenis.

Shaker, welcome to NICO. I hope that members here will be more respectful in the future of your club and site. I'm not digging into it, but it sounds like you're being a better ambassador here than some have been there. If you ever want tech info on Nissans, the various engine/car forums here are top notch.

I just walked away...
Hey if you know me, then you should know I know my honda's. You must have met someone else because I would have told you straight off what it is.

I haven't read this whole thread, but I hope all of our guys here are being respectful of other import enthusiasts.

To our visitors from Unforgiven (and any other groups), welcome to NICO.

I think alot of people from NICO are getting the Florida club and Louisiana Club mixed up. I know the Louisiana people, their site they had was silly, Logan cannot drift good (or at all), we're poking fun cause he says he's a drifter.

I don't know any of the Florida people, at all, a majority of the comments on here were aimed at logan anyway. Just thought you should know that.

And a question, have you ever seen or met up with all the Louisiana people?

Just wondering.

Actually, if you stick around, and I hope you do, you'll find that Nico tends to be rather accepting of other brands of cars. 1der is our resident Ford guy. That's why it was requested for him to introduce himself. And as you can tell from my sig I'm rather partial to BMW's... if not their rear suspension. (I'm noticing a pattern with my posts concerning Bimmers....)

If your happy with your car then you're the best compliment it will ever get. Don't worry about the people that don't like it because there will always be somebody who doesn't.

werd...like someone mention earlier..."love you car all you want in anyways, forms. but don't claim to be unique when your cars are indistinguishable from others on the road"

my comment/criticism has no intent toward the FL Chapter, but the Local kid who claim to be better than everyone else and make himself sound like a drift king...when he's not. I do have problem w/ arrogance and ignorant

I've never seen the FL U4G in person...so no beef toward you guys...but the LA chapter...honestly..it's embarassing....

sorry for invading your forums....but i don't find my post to be intruding but more out of my curiousity about the head drifter...that's all

Those guys are hilarious, the guy in the lancer, who we call Fevo (fake evo) tried to race me or something. He didnt stop at a stop sign and i was behind him, I stopped and I still caught up close to him. I coulda passed him as he braked for a turn, cause apparently, even with ABS, he doesnt know how to brake hard.

No-one's dissing you because you have a mustang, and I for one have been trying to rid the forum of the word rice as it pertains to ridiculous mods as japanese cars all basicaly fit the bill as you said...and it's just plain worn out now.We all aren't strict nissan enthusiasts, nor do we hate on american domestics, we just think that the odd 4 foot wing on a honda civic that will never see the sunny side of 80 m.p.h is crazy. All cars are accepted here, just that we really like nissans

I know how hard it is to grow a car enthusiast club from experience, it really hurts when you don't have one of your own. I have a couple of friends, and they have friends with really nice cars, and I hope to get it to network from there but my groth is limited seeing as I live on a small island. You've got time and a much larger area to work with, so give it time and I'm sure you'll get better

And there will always be some silly kid who first annoys the heck out of you with his warped definition of tuning and motorsports, but you have to realize that it might be your job to steer him (unbiased now) along the right path to their goal, or help them adjust it so that it's reasonable.

Ok, let me just say something about the head drifter, Logan is gone, kicked out, and when I mean kicked out literally, we kicked his ***.... For the local people, we're just doing our thing, we don't talk **** about people, and the two that did, we kicked out..we have no problem against people, but why do ya'll want to diss us, ok we're having fun. You can have the best website, the biggest team, and have no fun, and it's not worth it...These kids are trying to have fun, let them don't be d!ck...I mean it's stupid, I'm leaving for 6 months just so they can have the right to have fun. So all I'm gonna do now is ask nicely, for ya'll to leave them alone. They're not a race team, they are just a team/family....They aint doing you harm, so stop doin them harm.
