Ahh yes, more of this..... More hating because of what someone drives. No matter that someone could race with a beast of a 'Cuda and still have a nice little civic or even a camaro in the garage.
Yes.... I do drive a Ford. Those who know me, know that I don't like Ford in general. I for one actually enjoy the history of the ponycar and respect most of the lineage. Granted... the majority of the 70s and 80s blew ***. There was a reason for that.
I for one, have a deep respect for the Silvia. Though I admittidly know very little about the car, I know what it's capable of. I will be the first to admit that I've lost to these little Nissans... Oh I can tell you stories of a few years ago when I first started driving my Mustang, I had many people try to race... yes, I know the Mustang sucks stock. But it's my choice of car. So deal with it. If you don't like it, smile like a donut, and act like a chicken.
As with everyone interested in performance, my car is not finished, nor is it remotely close. I do however, have a goal for it. 600rwhp and capable of alternating between the dragstrip, and any circle track. Nothing like the cheap redneck thrills of Talledega, more of something like Waltkins Glenn Speedway.
I'm not here to get into word wars with you people. I'm just here to ask nicely. Leave Un4givin alone, and we'll leave you alone.
As for the question of what's custom about Un4givin Customz? Why don't you look at when NICO was founded, how many members you have, and how long those people have had their cars. I will say this. We don't have too many people around. I don't know anything about the Louisian area, but I do know that where I'm at, there's an overabundance of "car clubs" in the area. This alone has hurt the image of a car club so much that it's hard to get the great custom cars to stop by, let alone join. We all have to start somewhere. Every car starts stock. It takes time, money, effort, and above all, motivation to make any car truly custom. It's taken me three years to get my car where I'm at. Yes with what I've spent so far I could've concentrated on one aspect of the car and excelled, instead, I went for all around competition. My car wins in car shows, sound competitions, and to a slightly lesser extent performance. How can anyone look at any one car and say that your car will beat it? You have no idea what they've done. Again, the rice mentality.
That said, I'm quite sure that the majority of Nissans on this site could beat me on the road. I don't drift my car, so all, even the stock ones, can easily beat me there. But drag, the simplest race of all, I'd say maybe half could beat me. If I'm wrong, oh well. I'm wrong. Boo Hoo. Losing a race here and there provides the motivation to do better, learn from your mistakes, and excel. How can you argue or put down that logic?
I'm off my soapbox.... feel free to delete me from your server if you so choose, I could care less. Stop posting on our sites, and we won't post on yours. If you have a problem with an Un4givin member, settle it in person, and not be a chicken**** behind the safety of the internet.
